The biggest difference Rs4 2 is belt drive, Rs4 3 is shaft drive. For a parking lot basher you are much better off with a shaft drive car, any tiny pebbles can strip your belts.

The engine layout is different as are the headers and pipes.

Rs4 3 belt drive sucks thats why i sold my rs42. Belt drive dose not have the take off that the shaft drive has. O yea Go STEELERS love them

then how do you convert to shaft drive

For what you would have to do it would not be cost effective. Your gonna have change way too much of the RS4 2 to make it a shaft drive.

you dont the belt drive ROCKS in my part other then when you are in sand

What? First off who drives an on road in sand? I prefer a shaft drive any day over the belt drive. any parking lot bashing or racing with a belt drive, one tiny pebble finds its way to a belt or pulley and your done. Unless you are running on a completely groomed surface you do not want a belt driven car.
