Whats this benifet/help? how does it set up? can you all give me the downlow on it? thanks.

It's basically a Spur gear, with 2 slipper pads, and 2 flat disks, 1 on each side. This will give you better grab under power, then say the Traxxas spur with pegs... It's very easy to setup, and worth the extra dough...
My 2 cents...

Truthfully, it may be a little rougher on your CB, then a plastic, or Delrin spur.
If you set your mesh & slipper tension correctly, it really shouldn't bother your tranny gears...

thats what scares me..lol

how do I set the tension, or better yet, how do i know how much/ or little tension to have.

I usually set it so that I can just barely move the spur with my thumb, while all 4 wheels are stationary on the ground...

ok what if i use a plastic gear for it?? it wont hurt nothing?

I guess the plastic would be safer, if your that concerned.. I ran my Steel RRP DD Slipper kit with one of there hardened clutchbells... Although, my Tranny was pretty well beefed up...

well I'll buy a better CB, what tooth should I get? I want more acceloration. less teeth right?

Yep, less teeth. If you are running a 20t right now, 18 would be good. If you go down to 16, you need smaller cb bearings...

a 16t cb will really slow down your truck on the top end, but you will have good bottom end. You have to get smaller bearings for the 16t clutch bell, because it is a lot smaller in diameter. The stock gearing is 20/72.

Racers edge sells them with the bearings you need :) I went with a 17 tooth but havent installed it yet, I actually forgot about it untill I came across this lmao!
