I just wanted to see how they hold up long term and if thet can stand up to racing abuse before I buy them. So if you have this upgrade let us know how it holds up.
I have the Tekno ext. rear arms at the moment and I am getting tired losing racing races from broken pivot balls and tie rod ends.
My track is hard clay/sand mix and just about everytime it lands on one rear wheel from a jump, something breaks.
I had a set of the regular rpm pivot ball carriers and broke those real quick so I am a bit skeptical at this point.

You know those RPM pivot ball carriers have a lifetime warranty. Send them to RPM with a note that says why you think it broke and they'll send you a replacement.

Aside from that, I'm sure they would hold up fine... provided you work on your landings a bit. Not trying to pick on you, I'm just sayin that no product can make up for 100% of drivers errors.

I agree with you 100%. My landings do need improvement. The truck should be able to take it though. The jump in question is not that big, just off camber.
All my other rigs held up fine to it.
I did a bit of measuring and head scratching the other day. I have the Ofna 17mm hex adapters plus 1/2" offset wheels. The Ofna hexes add roughly 1/4" of width maybe more. This puts me at a little over 18" wide. Stock is 16.1" wide according to Towerhobbies.
I think I am just too wide causing too much stress on the pivot balls and tie-rod ends.
So I bought a set of zero offset wheels/tires to try for the next race.
I am still curious about the rpm tru trac just because it simplifies things.
I just wish RPM made them extended without pivot balls. That would be nice IMO.

I just don't understand why a person would want to limit there tuning options. It's a nice setup for bashing but I would want the adjustability of rear toe if I was racing.

I am going to see if the zero offset wheels and new Ti. pivot balls i have cut down on the breakage before I buy the RPM set-up. i don't want to give up the adjustability either. But if the RPM's can save me from a few DNF or DNS situations, I'll make the sacrifice. I don't mind losing a race too bad..... I HATE not finishing or starting late due to something breaking.

i was looking into the rpm piece as well i hate the adjustment because i can never get it right and i keep bending tie rods

the bumpsteer drives me batty
