Hi there!

Well I finally did it. i crashed my maxx and did pretty good damage
too.. what I need to know is i have replacement rpm a-arms and i notice there is no room between the bulkhead and the arm for the stock spacers ..{I think they are for caster}..I'm including a pic to better describe what i mean...Do i need them or am i just doin something wrong...

Thanks guys for all the great help....

Where is the pic?

I'm not sure of what you are talking about. Chances are, if there is no room for them now, you will not need them. Are you talking about the spacers that the hinge pins run through?

try again ..i dont really know how to post a pic

sweet!!!! it worked that time...had to make pic smaller

Those are the ones. You wont need those any more. RPM makes their A Arms so it takes up the slack. I've even found myself taking a dremel to the new RPM arms so they dont bind because they are so tight.

You will love the Arms!!! Nothing like RPM!!

thanks for the quick answers...
I did notice they were a little snug..i have to get another set of arms so if i break these ill have a set to put on while waiting for replacements that rpm says they will give for warranty..

If you happen top break one of those arms, I'd really like to see it... Those arms will bend or warp (not easily), before they break... I've always had to trim a bit off the RPM arms, so they moved freely... A small design flaw I guess..

I believe they call that perfection? :) My friend had that problem. I told him it was FINE!. Boy what an argument. I always have to fix that blasted max cause he doesn't want to take the chance of screwing it up. :)

not everything RPM makes is garenteed forever!! the wear plates are suppose to break, that is why they are called "wear" plates it also says this in the intructions!! and my dad stretched an rpm arm at the hinge pin!!!

No - Everything RPM is guarenteed forever. Including the skid plates. They are not guarenteed against 'normal' wear and tear. And RPM's version of 'normal' is something I think EVERYONE could agree on. I have NEVER heard of RPM not replacing something, unfairly. If anything, they replace way more than they should.

I dont expect anyone to replace something I broke attached to a 10lb missile going 60mph into a brick wall either. Especially since it was under my control.
