Rovan baja pipe

I recently purchased a new tail pipe. When I put the pipe on it touches the plastic roll cage at the rear. Because it is a custom pipe it does not fit perfectly and I was wondering if it is OK for the tail pipe to make contact with the plastic roll cage on the back of the rovin baja. Or if that is a big problem?

It will get hot enough to melt plastic. But you can go to the auto parts store and get header heat shield and put on there than it should help protect it

It's a common problem with these. Most people deal with the small melting it causes or they wrap that part of the header
