Hi,

Just wondering if rotostart is worth buying? Just say it takes 6-7 pull starts but with a rotostart 2 trys? What ya think?

Thanks

You're gonna get alot of mixed reactions on this question.

I have a roto, and right now it's not installed on any of my engines. I think it's rough on 1 way bearings, and is a pain if you're bashing and you have a flameout, you have to get the ignitor and the roto and the Tx and go fire your truck back up. With a pull start, ya just keep the ignitor in your pocket and Tx inhand.

Bottom line, if you have an engine that is easy to start, stay with the pull starter.

Whitt....

I like the Roto Start. Depending on what body you have on the truck, you may not be able to reach the pull start. I don't think needing the strater if you flame out to be a big deal. I can stuff it in my back pocket if I have to or you could hang it from your belt with a clip (if you feel it is important to have right at hand). I did have one beaing go bad but I think that was moe because my ea engine plate screws came loose than it was the starter's fault. For my on road I use the pull start because it starts with one or two pulls but my Savage can be tempermental and I don't like pull starter blisters.
