Does any one has it mounted on a Hyper engine? If so is there any mods that need to be done so that it works properly?

Thanx
Alein

I made put the roto start on my hyper. It wasn't too hard, all you need to do is find a way to inlarge the 10mm nut size on the roto housing to I think it is 12mm. to fit the hyper shaft. I did so by using a 10mm socket and grinding the outside into a 12mm nut size. It only took @ 1/2 hr. of burning my fingers on the grinding wheele. Then you need to do a little thing so the mounting screws will line up, not a problem. After all that work I found that using the roto start is a big waist of 50 bucks. If you have your mill tuened and know how to prime it you can stay with the pull start. Reason being the hyper one way bearing is internal, and will strip out of the turbo fan, then you need 25 bucks for a new fan with bearing.

That's for the Picco, not the Hyper. Also, I think that that info is outdated, like the part number they reference is no longer offered.

Christian I know has put the roto on his Picco .26, but the hyper has a completely different backplate setup.

I have a HB roto on my second truck (with the stock 21BB). It is nice, but if you flame out you have to be carrying that friggin starter with ya. The pull start is much more convienent once the engine is broken in and tuned properly.

Larry, man I wasn't bashing ya. Sorry if ya took it that way.

Just having a little Saturday night fun. Don't take it seriously.

No problem. Just out of my head. Today was a bit weird. Got up, worked on finishing my micro heli, recelled my heli radio, mowed the lawn, worked on the heli some more, got the tunes I want for the new video, watched Stargate, hacked up some video, drank alot of Diet Coke, stomach is growling so might have some popcorn, gonna hack some more video. Dang, it just goes on and on....

Weird isnt the word!

I was sweating my ass off so much today I ended up using 'Summers Eve' talcum powder around the family jewels to keep from chafing. Summers Eve Damnit!
