Hi guys I'm using my cordless drill instead of roto as roto start is gutless ,in doing this would I damage my savage??

Does the drill have a torque adjustment? If it does I would turn it down till it just does the job and you should be good to go.

Yeh I can turn it down , I find drill more effective roto start not up to the job perhaps it's because savage new and engine still tight ...
Thanks pall.

The engine is tight and the compression is high. I would recommend loosening the glow plug to let off some of the compression while starting it, and once it fires tighten it back down. That also takes a LOT of strain off the starter and the OWB.
