i just got a new savage x 4.6 and the roto start that came with it when i try to start it the roto isnt strong enough to turn the engine over what could be the problem?

the problem is ur engine if flooded so the roto start wont turn what u do is inside the purple coolant thing there will be a piece that u attach the glow plug to unscrew that and take it out then put a rag over the purple thing covering the hole and use the roto start without the glow plug and fuel will shoot up into the rag then put that screw back into the hole and then it should work :D

the glow plug is to tight to even take off with a set of plyers thats what I'm supposed to do right? take it off then hold a rag over then crank

u need a long socket nd a wrench 8mm to un screw it ya then hold a rag over the opening of the purple thing and crank till no more fuel spits out

Turn it upside down with the fuel line pinched to clear it properly. Make sure the roto start battery is charged completely. Don't use pliers on the glow plug as stated.

hey matheadmat ho about u go somewhere else if u watch the video that comes with the savage x it tells u to do exactly what i said so shut up and go somewhere else

you dont have to be rude:whhooo:

While the glow plug is out, stick it in the ignitor to burn off any residue from the flooded engine. A new glow plug may be in order. And if you have a problem with me stephenie, take it to the free for all.

wow i dont know what ne part is called who gives a poop i am just telling the guy how to unflood his enginelike the video says that comes with the truck

I don't know why anybody would care about proper terminology of rc parts on a rc forum. :\

What can't ya fix...

That's was sarcasm Einstein. If you don't know the name of the part your posting about, you have no business posting. Period. Read up.
