I shut my savage off yesterday to make an adjustment on the servos. When I went to start it back up, it turned over a few times, then just sat and spins. I took the engine off the truck, and when I manually turn the one-way bearing, it turns, but I hear a small clicking noise for every revolution it makes. I get perfect compression when I turn by the flywheel. What could be the problem?
Thank you,
rufus

and now after playing with it, I have a small silver pin that I have no idea where it came from lol

The pin is probably from the one-way bearing.

It also sounds like the one-way bearing is the culprit and you either need to clean it or get a new one.

If the pin is indeed from the bearing, then just get a new one.

thank you, yes the bearing is shot. The plastic inside is all tore up. What part number is it?

Probably 1430 for the bearing. Check your manual and look at the exploded view of the engine to confirm.

yah its the one way bearing same thing happened to me like a week ago, roto start was just spinin, and a little pin came out, i got a new one and the part number was 1430

It depends on which engine you have. The 21/25/F4.6 all use the same 1430 mentioned above. You can save a couple $$ and get the same exact bearing if you buy for a Duratrax Warhead.
