Hello all....

I have a Rossi Pixi Black that I am having a real hard time getting tuned in right...Here is what it is doing...

It idles real nice at a low rumble, when you blip it to full throttle and then let off it idles high and then in about 5-10 seonds comes back down to a low rumbling idle...I can't seem to get it to go up and down right....

I baselined the motor and it still does it...I changed the fuel tank to take an air leak out of the equation, I am going to re-seal the carb with some RVT to take that out of the equation...any ideas???

thanks in advance...

I don't really undersand what your saying, but as with most nitro engines they do take a few secons to get down to a low idle. It starts off high then it eventually tapers down to a low rumble.

I guess I am saying that it is taking too long and staying too high before coming down....more so then other engines I have run...

So Mark you are saying that is proper operation and I should be ok on both temp and fuel economy??? This is my first experience with a Rossi and I can't believe how hard this motor has been to tune in successfully....

Man my Rossi's were a breeze to tune..Very ,very easy..I even had one modded by Murnan and it tuned very easy as well..Just keep an eye on the temps and don't worry about it..I run a Sirio as well and the Sirio always ran longer on a tank than the Rossi did..It didn't have great fuel economy..

Yeah, I seem to have the high end right and just need to finish the low end, I think it might be a little rich, but I will do that after some track testing....I was just worried about the way it came back down after a full pull on the throttle, my Nova's always came back down real quick....
