The R/C world sure does capitalize on like names. Ex; Mugen and Ofna both make a MBX buggy.

I was wondering is a Rossi engine a Novarossi engine. I searched here and on the web and I'm still not sure. About the time I decide, I read another tid-bit that changes my mind.

I did a search on Rossi cx .12 and keep running into Novarossi CX .12.

Trinity is in the sack with Rossi to market engines in the US. Are these Novarossi's with a slightly different name for the Trinity partnership?

So are they the same?

If not does both Rossi and Novarossi make a CX .12 model?

Please be gentle....remember; no such thing as a stupid question and yes I did use the search.

Thanks,

Mr T

I beleive they are not the same. Nova means new, and supposedly one of the rossis split off and started his own company, Novarossi. I may just be talking right out my ass, but thats what I heard...

I believe it is that Nova is a manufacturer, and so is Rossi as kwong2001 said, because there is also NovaMax, and I'm sure others. I know the MR .12 on my MTX-3 is a (not sure which, or both) NovaRossi based engine along with the MT .12, and what is the bad a$$ one Mugen makes? The X .12. Just my $0.02 to feed the disscusion.

Actually they 2 brothers started the rossi company and then split and one brother kept the rossi company and the other started a new one named novarossi. Hence the the nova=new newrossi company.

Both brands are good engines as far as I know. Novarossi engines are time tested to be great products, and I've heard great things about Rossi engines too.

Just thought I'd add that =)
