looking for a roll cage for my 2 t-maxx trucks. I've been looking on ebay and they are not scarce but which ones would be the best? Has anyone bought one and ran your truck hard into something and it stayed together without breaking welds? let me know guys

Short version: Love it.

Long version: Got it for my losi. Love it. Hit light pole at about 30 mph, (before i went spectrum and some bastard didnt check in his frequency at track and took over my truck), bent the top about 1/8 inch, but just pulled back into place. Many turnovers, and it got run over by a honda 500cc ATV.

I'm looking for one too, that one seems pretty good while looking good also.

I myself use the Rc-Solutions cage . I have 1 on a cybermaxx and 1 on a 2.5r . One of the best cages IMO .

Hard Bodyz stuff is badass. The cages that they make for the baja are unbelievable, I'm getting ready to order one myself.

I have one for sale here if you are interested...first item, and I'll drop the pair (body and cage) to 35 shipped.....

keep in mind a rollcage is designed to protect your rig first not keep the cage nice....if you wreck real bad the cage will crush.....they will take a lot of abuse, but don't expect it to take a full on WOT curb check and not get at least a little mangled.......

oh yea, I forgot about the one fish guy has. I almost bought it when I was building my maxx but then I got involved in some other projects.

I have a hard body's cage on my wife's EMaxx. I can't really say how well it does it's job, but it's really more for bling I suppose. I really like the look of the hard body's cages. However, they do tend to force the sides of the bodies outward a bit because of the angles of the tubing.

I like the idea of the Hard bodyz cage on the Maxx because it mounts to the bumper supports rather than the chassis. If you are using the stock supports (which I do and recommend) then they will absorb a good bit of any impacts and probably save the cage as well.

I only wish they made a tube cage that was long enough for my FLM extended chassis.
