:) Hey, I have a stock savage25, and I was wondering what I would have to do do be able to go rock crawling.? Or do I not have to do anything?? I was also told that I could get a motorsaver air filter and a ribbed tune pipe and be able to pull wheelies, Is this true?? Thanks, Al :boxing:

tall gearing is a must... the stock savage suspension will work for some rocks... you can take the rubber bumpers out of the shocks to get some extra suspension travel. maybe a metal spur. cause once i tried rock crawling mine and the clutch bell got so hot it melted the spur gear.... as far as wheelies goes it depends on gearing also. I've seen stock 25s with composite pipes and stock filters wheelie... and I've also seen piccos and 24.7's that wont wheelie.

I'm a newbie..... so i got a question, what is tall gearing??

Taller gearing refers to the gear ratio. 49T spur gear and 18T clutch bell would have a 2.7 gear ratio, 49T spur and 15T cb would have a 3.2 gear ratio. To figure out gear ratio divide the spur gear by the clutch bell. So the 49T spur and the 15T cb will have a "Taller gearing". Hope that helps.
