I would personally just use the stock bushing from the old slipper... just forget the bearing...

just like he says ,just use the pics i posted and instead of using the bearing in the middle use the spacer from the stock spur
the 1 on the right hand side of the picture you posted ,(bronze colored)
 
You can use the stock bushing if you like, but will find much better performance from
a suitably sized bearing.

It should fit, but might be snug. Also, you might need to round the hex portion of the axle a little to help the bearing....BUT I never did.
