FINALLY!!!! I have entered the 21st century. Just moments ago I finished installing Roadrunner high speed cable internet service on my computer. No more of that painfully crappy 56K stuff. No more waiting forever for pictures to download. And now I can watch videos! And better yet, I can talk on the phone while I'm surfing. I feel like a real human being now!!!!!
 
ahh youll be back!!! lol no you wont youve left me alone wiht 56k forever, WHY!!! broadband is the shiz if only my parents found out lol.
 
Xbox Live. Oh man. You had to say that. That's trouble. Since I don't have a router, I'm safe for now.....

not safe yet you don't need a router, I don't use one just unplug your cat v cable frome your computer and plug it in to your Xbox if its not long enouf get a longer cable!!! TADA! your live :cheers:
 
OK, that's not fair. No tempting me. Luckily my Xbox is across the room from my PC and my cat 5 cable isn't long enough... Although I do have like 2 free Xbox live offers....

I had that problem but my brother had over 50' cable and the plugs so he made one for me with a 10' length. Need one? talk about temptation huh!?!
 
Hahaha, Nice Candyman. I have the same thing except its called COX High Speed Internet. Good luck to yah! And man, Please be sure to get a pop up blocker, because high speed internet gives you alot of pop ups, At least for me it does. Later...
 
I'm still one of those obsolete dial-up users using a Pentium II 333 MHz PC's. Maybe Santa wil bring me a new PC so I can also upgrade my internet access. THIS SUCKS!
 
I am on highspeed and I have no pop-ups. It's all what is or isn't on your PC to cause pop ups, and yes I am sure if you are infected with adware you would see more pop-ups as they load more quickly than dial-up.

If you ever want I could put together a 1.5ghz for you for like $200 or so. Soemthing with a decent Vid card also. It would just be the tower, no monitor or accessories.
 
Humboldt- I have a virus on here of some sort. it sucks, just my luck i get it. Later :)
