I'm looking at getting a Ritter exhaust i've heard it gives your engine great power in the low end and high end it will cost about 50 dollars if i get it.......... do you think its a good exhaust and worth the money if not what should i get? thanks

By the way I'm planning to put the exhaust on a picco 26

Never mind I'm gonna get the rb 086 $48.99

I dont know if I would put a .15 size made pipe on that Picco .26. Night and day on the power rating.

Othwerise, the ritter is a kickass pipe on the 2.5. I've only seen good there.

The RB086 is also a great pipe.

In the MaxxTraxx forums, it seems that the ritter pipe was proven to not give much of a performance gain. It was quite controversial. I do not know if anybody here remembers that?

Yeah but you hit the nail on the head. Controversial is the buzzword.

I've actually seen them run in person and can honestly say that there was an improvement in performance accross the band. Nothing INSANE but enough to see.

I still wouldnt put them on any mill bigger than a .15 though (thats what the 2.5 is)

RDLogics makes a great pipe for the 2.5 as well.

I would still go with the THS or RDLogics for the Picco .26. Thats what I run and I love it!

So........ Çh®i§tiªñ what do you mean .15 size made pipe on that Picco .26 which one is a .15 The rb 086? tahts what I'm planning to get is it good?

And also with the rb 086 is there any diff in performance with the polished and the black? thanks

A speedy response please I'm planning on getting one tomorrow..................???

really all i wanna know is if the rb 086 would be good with the picco 26 anyone???? thanks

I would get a .21 class pipe for a .21 big block or a hair larger engine. I dont think putting a .15 class pipe on a .21 class engine is a good idea.

Just put the 2 side by side and I think you will agree.

I'm kinda lost what do you mean .15 exhaust? the rb is for .15? if not I'm wondering which pipe to get for torque the rb 086 or rb 063?????

The Picco .26 is a BIG BLOCK engine while the .15 size engines are SMALL BLOCK. Just as you wouldnt put a Hyundai 4 banger exhaust system on a dodge dually 10 cylinder hemi model, you dont want to do the same in nitro r.c..

Get a pipe thats made for a .21 size engine or higher is all I am saying. The ritter is made for the Traxxas 2.5 and that is a small block engine. DONT put it on your Picco .26.

Follow?

Oh well i was talking about the rb after hearing good things about it and also they make a savage "ritter" exhaust that is made for .21 i know this because i was about to buy it sorry i should have made myself clearer

But back to my question which is better for wheelies rb 086 or rb 063?

With the Picco you wont have to worry about wheelies at all.

My bad on the confusion. My fault man.

I would go with the RB086 since thats what most around here are running if they dont have the THS/RDLogics pipes.

Its ok and thanks thats for the info now i wanna see how fast i can go :hehe: with a 3 shoe clutch 16 tooth cluth bell picco 26 and rb 086 how fast would i go itd be fun hitting a big jump at 50 hahaha

Also another thing there are two diff colors black and polished chrome (chrome is more expensive) is the chrome better? or is it just cuz its chrome?

Its just because its chrome.....

You will FEEL like your doing 50. I need someone to gun mine, I have no idea how fast it is. Just mad crazy fast!

after having my 086 exhaust for a while i finally put it on, and it didnt seem the fit all that great........ the part the says rb efra 9886 is on the inside not the outside where you can see it oh well
it seems to give it more low end power but not much more on the high end, ......... i think i just gotta mess with the needles a little more hehe
