Well it looks like were going to be getting about a weeks worth of 30+ degree temperatures up here after dealing with 30 BELOW ZERO for 3 days, boy was that hell! :hehe: But now it will be me and the savage in the snow all week! Should be fun as long as nothing breaks, but that dont worry me too much, having the snow just means I can jump it twice as high! :D

snow run...

post some pics guys.... and this was a couple of days ago.....

The last time I lived somewhere with snow I had my Savage out and was sunning it around and got it good and snow packed....stopped for like 30 seconds to check the engine temp and give the HSN a tweak and the damn hubs froze up....had to shut it down and bring it inside to let the poor thing thaw out.

Hopefully you have better luck than I did. A heavy truck and more than a few inches of snow, and they just dig a hole. But when it freezes over, or in a big parking lot with only a few inches, it's by far one of the funnest things in RC IMHO.

Surprisingly, the savage makes it through the snow better than my emaxx! It also launches twice as high in the air! Its such a blast in the snow!:D

It looks like you had a good time! :D
Lots of fun indeed. I just wrapped the air filter with plastic cut from ziplock bag and also wrapped the engine head with an old clean sock haha. I enjoyed drifting the savage on snow, it gives a great effect. I'm a bit worried I might bald the tires faster while doing lots of figure of 8's and donut circling. Most nitro users would not recommend running a nitro in the cold, because it would ruin the engine faster. But I can't let that ruin the fun. Where's your photos? It's kinda hard to beat rolex photos with just the antenna sticking out. It's a good thing he isn't using 2.4ghz yet, otherwise we won't even see that antenna haha.
