Well I didn't notice until someone else put a team factory kit for the NTC3, but now I have. I was never given any, any cf components that I paid for with the kit, which it says on the box, and in amainhobbies description the kit has.How would all of you going about handling this, I paid for something, and was now given something different. The kit I paid for is the 2033 which is suppose to have all the cf components, so I've sent a letter to Team associated, and to amain questioning the add, and why I did not have those included in my kit.

You could return it and buy mine. It has lots of carbon....and already put together. The kit for the person who has no time....lol. Yeah that does suck. I have had those sort of things happen. good luck with customer support. Some are even good.

Yes, it's a black anodized aluminum chassis, but if you look in the for sale section you will see the factory team model. The cf pieces on that car, I don't have, I don't have any in my kit to be exact. I should have quite a few pieces,so I'm going to wait and see what team associated says, since they are kind enough on their box to put in blue what pieces are included in the kit I bought. So far I'm missing 9 items out of the kit.

Ok Noob.....I have some information for you. 90% of the CF parts on my car are after market. I bought the un-built kit from a good friend of mine. You got me thinking, so I asked him about it and apparently he had bought all the extras and put them in the box with the kit. Damn and I never knew that until today. So you guess you don't actually get all the carbon goodies in your kit.

This is what I got off the AE site: The Factory Team NTC3 is also loaded with over $200 of pro-level Factory Team options … Factory-blue titanium turnbuckles, threaded aluminum shock bodies, aluminum wheel-hex hubs ... and more! It also includes the full range of "molded carbon composite chassis components", and a distinctive hard-anodized, black aluminum chassis, making the Nitro TC3 Factory Team an outstanding value for less than the price of many other manufacturer’s “standard” kits. Our heavy-duty Factory Team front one-way is included, which is our racing team’s standard setup for greatly increasing the NTC3’s corner speed carrying capability.

BTW: Carbon composite and carbon fiber is different. You probably thought that carbon composite was carbon fiber.

From what the box says, it's suppose to be carbon. I have the factory team kit and on the box it just says carbon front arm set, and so forth. Nothing about molded carbon. So I will have to look around, most of it just looks like graphite, the whole setup looks like graphite. Yep it's all molded graphite, no carbon, nothing that even looks like carbon. I just know this will be an issue with team associated, but if I pay for something, and it's not in there, it's annoying. Looking at their site, the cf parts, look just like the regular stock parts on the base cars, interesting.

FT parts such as arms and diff housings are made out of molded carbon. They are a slightly lighter shade of gray when compared to their stock parts. They call them molded carbon fiber.

Yep, that's what the rep said at team associated, that it's a mix of carbon and plastic, and that's why they look similar.I thought it would look somewhat like carbon, but oh well.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, that you didn't realize how much money was dumped into that car on aftermarket products. I'm not saying it's never ever happened, but I haven't heard many people complain that they bought a kit with all the wrong parts in it from Associated, they're pretty good about that kinda stuff.
