Did I get ripped off? I got an ez start battery, the tq3 radiosystem, the all stock tmaxx that needed a new one way bearing front differencial and shifting servo. I paid 300 bucks and another 75 to get it working. Is that a reasonable sale? Or was I ripped off?:bandit:

depends if it was a 2.5 or 3.3 engine.

But really that was a bit too much for a used truck with issues.

to compare... I recently purchased a lightly used E-Maxx for $370 shipped. pretty stock truck with a bunch of backup parts, a like-new steel rollcage, a pair of both Venom 4600 and 5000 batteries, an Intellipeak twin charger and 2 sets of wheels/tires

yaa.. you probly paid a little too much. but i think you know that or you wouldnt have asked..if it makes you feel any better, its happened to the best of us..including myself.. i'll save myself the embarasment and leave out the details.. an rtr revo and a jato for 2 rs4,s.....neither of wich are running

Yeah I figured as much. Ah whatever. That was before I got a name in this family and found the deals we share among ourselves. And lessen it was a 2.5. I'm still having ussues with it. He never did after run maintenence. man when I got it he left a quarter tank of fuel and it was greasy as hell. I had to take it apart and clean every part from head to toe. Next one I am buying from this forum. He is kinda a jerk anyways.

Whether or not you buy it here, through a member, or on Ebay or from someone privately, and least post up the info you have on it so we can advise you.

Yeah I will do so. I only wish I had been here before I got it. I was using it for a learning experience but I figured i would fix it and be done with it. but now its one thing after another. Its always something.

yeah well I have it sort of running and know of a guy that might want it. I think I may even sell it on here but everyone will know what they are buying. a fixerupper.

At this point, keep it, and run it. You'll never get back more than half of what you have in it, so get your money's worth and run it.

Alrighty then. I still have the problem of not being able to start it. HINT HINT!

Sorry to here you got ripped off, I guess I got about the best deal you can get on a t maxx, it needed a little TLC but it was FREE from a friend who had it sitting around for over a year, its only the 2.5 but when it wears out I will upgrade to a 3.3....
