If it's a 1/8 scale why does it have a .15 engine? What is wrong with this pictire?

LMAO
Its a Magic Wheel.
They must have re-thought-their pricing.
Someone had one in my LHS today. The couldn't get it started.
The only good thing I could say is "Nice receiver and radio box."

I have one (check out my photo gallery), and it's light as hell due to the masive plastic parts but it works well, I ripped out the .15 and put in an XTM .18 (which needed a Traxxas engine mount) and it frigging FLIES! No reverse, and the 2nd gear shifts early (which benefits from the .18), I poured in 30W shock oil and it runs like a champ now. The chassis is slightly shorter than the T-Maxx hence the Traxxas battery box I got was too big so I might grab a real Traxxas chassis and brace sometimes. Otherwise it's a cool truck once you sort everything out, the engine that came with it is a bit puny and has a very weak clutch shoe spring so you may as well replace it first off and get a Pro-Line body since the orignal body is crap like paper.

I wouldn't say it's a rip off but pretty much a knock-off, I think Traxxas sold the original T-Maxx design.

As durable as a T-Maxx can be, but you'll get badly scratched up plastic skid plates in a week or two of races and I'm not sure how good the diffs are, they're a bit loose by default. Worth a shot to grab one for $200 at least for bashing and mod projects. I looked at my buggy's Hyper .21 8P engine and looked at the stock .15 engine mount (positioned further back than Traxxas' mount) and looks like with little mod it can fit a .21 engine in it but I haven't bothered since I stuck in my .21 and won't take it out for a whlie.

Oh forgot to mention on a side note, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with technicala on ebay, he may have a good reputition but his attitude stinks and sucks to do business with especially when ordering parts. He didn't package the Magic Wheel properly and UPS crushed it so I got a cracked body and battery box and his response was "that's what UPS insurance is for right?" when UPS says they won't do anything about it up here in Canada. He also accidentally mailed some parts for a different car to me by mistake when he meant to mail it to someone else and bitched about it in email when he should've simply apologized.

I think that guy need to turn off his FRIGGIN CAPS. That was the hardest thing to read.

Some think it's a T-Maxx, some think it's a modified T-Maxx, others say it looks like a T-Maxx, and some aren't sure what it is and never heard of a "magic wheel". It did round up some interest but I always suggest getting a real T-Maxx if they want one.

I just got back from track practice, it ran quite good except my fault on the pipe coupler, it kept popping off. It seems to float in the air on fast jumps and managed the triple jump with no trouble due to how light it is. I might hop this one up just a tad more and sell it to get a Savage 21 in a few months.

so when you race, what do people think of the truck? Are they surprised?
I haven't gotten any reaction yet.

Raced it alongside a TRX 2.5 once, they had the same gearing (20/72) and similar power mills (both around 1.3HP) but mine seems to accelerate much quicker and when you compare weights, mine is at least a pound and half lighter. It really pulls on straightaways on the track but understeers around corners (I still have trouble with that and have to tap the brakes to control it).

Hope I have answered enough about the truck. :)
