It seems that Bubba Smith passed away yesterday. I loved him as Hightower in the "Police Academy" series of movies. He will be missed.

My Dad had a car like that and was over 6 ft tall. It was like watching a Transformer unfolding whenever he got out.
I heard he died of natural causes and at age 66 I believe. Seems awfully young. 
RIP.
