I am ready to mount my tires on to the wheels. Do I have to drill a tiny hole like I have on my MT's?

Jon

If I don't will It be more bouincy? I am not too sure on how buggies react to either set up so any suggestions?

I wouldnt know. I ALWAYS drill my rims.

I've had NO problems in drilling any of my rims. Onroad, stadium, buggy and MT's. All drilled and all great :)

great I will stick to what I have been doing as well. THanks Christian

Jon

Are you guys talking about drilling a hole on the inside track of the rim so that it lets air out n'stuff?? Some new mod I don't know about lol??

The tires are more bouncy if you don't drill at least one hole in the rim. The tires will absorb more impact energy with the hole there.

Hmm kinda glad I ran acrossed this do new buggy rims not come drilled at all?? I am seriously just getting to the buggy market. Damn thing should be here by Friday I hope. I'm gonna rip up some dirt with that bastard.

I think most rims do not come pre-drilled so you have an option.
Can't remember if my pro-lines did or not.

well I got the New Ofna Hyper 7 PCR Pro and its a kit so everything is pretty much built by the owner except for the torsen ( spider) diff!!. Its cool I am all for it!! I drilled them just now!

My set of Proline Knuckles (pre-mounted) came pre-drilled. I've never seen the buggy guys do this, but I've seen MT's on real hard landings blow tires off the rims when they weren't drilled.
All that air had to go somewhere I guess.

Physics..its a Biotch!!

I wonder how many PSI of pressure it takes to pop a tire off the rim. Actual number.... It has to be a lot. Unless of coarse the glue is going to hell in a handbasket.

Like I said, I drill all of my rims.
