Where is the best place to buy rims and tires? I have tried @ towerhobbies, but i jus cannot seem ot figure it out on which ones to buy, are there any good places to buy them?

Are you saying I can get them for my touring car? I searched their site and couldn't spot them for touring cars.

I think Ill stick with glue,no pun intended:classic: Those wheels only seem to lock on the front bead? What about the rear bead?? This could cause a problem!!!

Never noticed this was in the On-Road. Sorry guys. As for performance on Monster Trucks, these rims KICKASS! They lock both the inside and outside. Like their warning says, DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THEM BY HAND, YOU WILL TEAR THE TIRE! Its so true.

Well, for asphalt racing I typicly use the HPI 26mm Belted X pattern Pro compound with molded HPI 26mm foams yellow in front and blue or black in the rear.

My wheel of choice is the Proline 26mm gumby and second is the wabash also from proline.

I just buy mine from my local hobby shops.

if traction is high then I go with a set of premounted foams or takeoff brand wheel/tire combos (the 24mm's in 27 compound).

I would go to www.speedtechrc.com for tires and rims. They have Take Off combo's and a wide selection of tires to chose from. I recommend Fast Tire or other Ellegi type tire for foam. Yokomo foam and rubber are also great. As for rubber, I would run Take Offs and again Yokomos.
