Actually, the 10/22 is pretty built up already. Can't remember the specs on it, but it was fairly hopped up.

That is sweet as hell! Love the stock.
Haven't seen that color, but I like it!

Yeah, it cost me a pretty penny (for a .22lr, lol) at almost $650. But, I think of it this way... It would have cost just as much (and probably more) to mod out a regular 10/22. And, this comes with a lifetime warranty from the dealer.

I have a Ruger 10-22 with a 7power scope on it other than the trigger pull being to heavy it's 7.5 pounds she be around 4 tops. It shoots great I can ace a dime at 75yds no prob. It's a great gun for squirl or chipmunk, or a partrige if I catch one pecking at the gravel ez head shot.

You can get the trigger pull down with a little work. http://home.earthlink.net/~nrwilson01/triggermods/ I would guess that mine is about 3lbs? Still got more creep in it than i would like, but I'm going to work on it. Thing about it, if ya do mess up there are a lot of parts out there. Just one screw and 2 pins? you can put a trigger group in it? http://www.hornetproducts.com/bin/category.asp?category=10

It's relaxing to tinker with them too.

Hi Digger a buddy of mine who is a gun smith did hone down some of the parts but we didnt polish them, I'll have to try that cus 7.5 pounds is way to much when I go out hunting. The 10/22 is an awsome .22 cal very accurate if you get it zero'd in properly. My goal is to hit a dime at 100yds since I'm at 75yds now it'll just take alittle more practice and I dont mind going thru 250 rounds in 1 session its fun. Tnx agn for the info

Well, I picked it up yesterday. It feels nice. Trigger pull is really low (I don't have a gauge, so I'm not sure). I haven't gotten to shoot it yet, but the scope should be here within a couple days... As promised, here is a pic of my three now. Very crappy pic though. I'm going to clean them up and see if I can't get a better pic.

Still love it. Put up some more pics when ya get the chance. Let us know how it shoots.
You're addicted. Ya need a couple of rimfire pistols now. Browning or Ruger, can't go wrong with either.
Dad had a High Standard I tried to get off of him for years. http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/admin/product_details.php?itemID=4598 Probably had it since about '65? Been wanting to ask Mom about it, just not been able to get the right moment.

I'm still too young for handguns (law is 21 or older here, and I'm 18). I figure, by the time I am old enough for handguns, I will have a safe full of rifles! By the way, yes, I will admit that I am totally addicted! Already eying another 10/22 for a .17hm2 conversion! I already have another stock!

Nice looking collection! I don't have a sport gun but I love target practicing with my .22. It's a Remington Fieldmaster model 572, and because it's a pump it will shoot any .22 bullets even if I load different rounds at the same time (short, long, cb cap) it doesn't jam! I did shoot a buddies .17 a few times, very sweet and very accurate!

I went ant got some scope bases and mounted my 3x9 air rifle scope on the 10/22 and went to the range today! I was impressed with the accuracy of the rifle, even though I wasn't trying too hard, as they were only open for about an hour after I got there. I bought a brick of the cheap CCI Blazers and they worked OK. They most likely aren't the most accurate, but they cycled, and thats what counted today! I even tried some CB Longs, but they didn't cycle, although they are extremely quiet!

I'll try picking some of those up then! I will most likely try everything out there eventually!

They are the wierdest bullets I've ever seen! They have a waxy feel to them. Shoot very well with very very few fliers.

Well, I ended up buying a few bricks of ammo and went to the range today with the 10/22. I was using some Blazers, which didn't do too good. Then I tried some CCI GreenTags, which were pretty damn close to dead on, and by far the most accurate ammo I have put through this thing. I put 50 shots through a hole the size of a quarter at 50 yards (good enough for me!). I also tried some CCI copper coated solid points, which didn't seem to work very well. I shot around 500 rounds today. Not one jam or misfire either! Not many people at the range, but the ones who were there had to check out the ruger.

Gd deal sounds like u got it dialed in. I use whats ever on sale the CCI copper works pretty well even though I do get some Jams. Last time I went to the range I was hitting a dime at 75yds using a cheap $80.00 scope.
