Rhys Millen at Pikes Peak

The Pikes' Peak race happened in July. I have been obsessed with it for the last month or so, and have watched probably 100+ vids on Utube. Here is Millen setting a class record, but I dont know what year. Its just awesome footage that gives you a sense of the speed. Watch the corner setups at 2:18, 3:35, 4:20 and 5:35!

What a ride! I love the turbo spooling up sound and pop'n off. The clouds looked awesome when he got near the top too, around the 11:20 area.

It's a shame this stuff doesn't get better media coverage.

The hillclimb just always amazes me. These guys just hang it out there. And with the cliffs to one side, they got a lot of balls. These guys are just as nuts as the WRC guys. Josh is right. It would be nice to have some good full coverage to watch all the classes. It's a really cool race. And on a side note, I'm kinda pissed that I didn't get to watch the Isle of Mann TT. That's a pretty damn cool event, too.

It's a motorcycle race on the Isle of Man in Britain. It's a time trial race on 37 miles of public roads. Indigenous traffic. No closed roads. It's pretty cool.

I didn't think that Rhys did the Pike's Peak run anymore. I thought he did drifting only.
