Help please,
My revo just got a brand new dynamite .19 Mach 2 and it's out of tune/ retarded, one more incident like this and it's going in the front yard with a " free" sign on it. The throttle needle plug thing is getting stuck at half speed, So when I stop the car. It keeps going. And also the easy start is not connecting with the ground area . So I find myself having to push down the little yellow wire. ALSO the carburetor fell off and I put it back on after some fumbling. HELP:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::whhooo:

first of ditch the easy start dont work well with the .19t.. get a pull start.....next the factory settings need to be ad justed they are real goofy. another change out ur gas lines.... i did that to mine n it ran good after that....who put the mill in you if so go seek some help from a hobby shop so u dont break anything...... or u can adjust ur throttle servo....i did that with mine on day one........good luck......

p.s lol racer

Thighen yourground wire down and the carb has a screw or nut to thighen the carb i dont know the carb ajustments.

isnt the point of this to help the people within.

Listing yourself as an "RC GURU" and asking the most basic beginner questions is the reason you got those responses.
A Guru is a person that knows all the information ever needed, particularly about nitro engines and electronics, since this site is RC Nitro Talk.
If you have been running electrics, then perhaps you should change your title to "Experienced driver". If your electric experience is Radio Shack or Walmart cars, there is absolutely no comparison to a genuine brushless electric.
No shame in listing yourself as a newbie. We were all new at one time. Be honest with the members and you'll get exactly the help you need.

Mud wild, thanks for the comment, only good thing I've gotten from these people.. And when I signed up for this site I didn't think about the nitro part, mostly because I also saw an electric section of the site. I'll change my wherever it is called. But seriously, any help with the tuning, I just need a place to start at. Oh, and also, I am one of the leading editors for a UK rc car magazine. I was looking into this site to see if none of you were prejeduce to people like me. Turns out you all failed, except for one or two of you. Still though, any help?

:alarm::alarm::alarm::alarm::alarm::alarm::alarm::alarm: Looks like you have set off the b.s. alarm. When all lights are flashing, that means you've come up with a whopper. Tell ya what, I'm curious.. what magazine is it? Who are you?

oh and from your profile :Years in hobby 3-5 years RC History
I loved watching older kids bash around in the front yard, so i got my first truck; the traxxas stampede, and took off from there.

you're probably about 16? 17? What's it matter.. you're fulla crap anyhow

Hahaha thanks rob

DUDE! your ZIP and the LAT - LONG on your profile both point to sunny cali. You dont speak with any token UK words or slang. How are you an editor for a UK RC magazine?

if the carb fell off, you have bigger problems. first you have to make sure that is on there and on there right. check your pinch bolt and make sure its good and tight. second you need to make sure the slide is working smoothly before you ever start the rig. disconnect the servo linkage and verify it is moving smoothly. It sounds like maybe your idle set screw is to snug and binding. if it moves freely then verify proper movement and adjustment of the throttle linkage. Then verify your idle gap is set properly. ONLY after all this is corrected should you attempt to fire up the rig.

Once you are ready to fire it up, do a search on here for the tuning flowchart. it will walk you through getting the rig running correctly.

now, you have the advice you need, and the starting point you requested. Quit BSing us, admit your new, learn and enjoy the hobby. there are hundreds of years of combined knowledge on this forum. We will catch and call out BS faster then you can wipe it from your lips.

Hmmmmmm, the zip code you entered is for Torrance, California, but your IP address is Ashville, North Carolina.
You're an editor for a big time RC magazine in the U.K.
You're an RC Guru, yet you asked the simplest most basic, almost childish questions about your Revo.
If you're an electric Guru, I think you should have been able to figure out the problem with your yellow ground wire.

Ummmm, no. Because you asked about your nitro Revo.

You mean there's no one there that is also a Guru that could help you with your Revo?

What is it about you that we should be prejudiced about?
Kids in California? Kids in North Carolina? Maybe a kid that edits a big time RC magazine in the U.K.?
Gurus? We have no problem with Gurus. In fact we welcome them.
Liars? Bullshit artists? Oooh, nailed it. That's what we have a problem with.

Wrong again. It's YOU that failed, because you got caught.

I call BULLSHIT on your posts !!!

Any questions Guru?
