hey I'm new to fourm.. i just bought a used revo all stock except for a tiger drive...I'm not used to them... i replaced the glow plug.. my igniter is brand new... it just wont kick over.. i set it back to stock settings thinking that would work.. any ideas please help....

yup, Nip the glow plug out, turn the rig upside down and run the tiger drive for a few seconds.

Once you do that, turn it right way up, re-fit the glow plug, and try starting again :)

Also, did you prime the engine before you tried to start it ?

okay thanks..when i do this if fuel comes out does that mean it was flooded.. and also i not sure if i primed it correct or not.. been out of the scene for a while....thanks for the info tho

Put the ignitor on, crank it over, and put your finger over the exhaust a couple of quick times. Second at a time. Should fire right up. Make sure your tx and rx are on and set up properly before starting.

okay thanks.... i have a jato with ez start.. i have a ez start for the revo.. do u recomend a ez start of the tiger drive.. its kills my drills battery

yeah.. I'm going to put the ez start back on.. just have to get the harness for it..

okay so tonight i tryed to start the truck.. i put my finger over the exhaust and i get nothing... so then i took the glow plug out turn it up side down nothing came out.... when i hold the truck from the front bumper i noticed some gas come out the exahust..is that normal

if it is coming out of the exhaust that could indicate it is flooded but you said nothing came out.? hmm try to unflood it again and then when you tighten up the glow plug take off the fuel tubing that is connected to your pipe and blow into it for just a second or two until you look at the fuel line and see the fuel in the carb. Once you do that put the igniter on the plug and give it a few cranks on the ez-start. If you keep the ez start wand on there for a second or two while you press it in you will see fuel moving through the fuel line if everything is all good. it should start though, if not try heating up your motor to about 190 degrees. that has worked wonders for me if it hasnt been started in a while like in the winter time i need to heat my engines up a little bit and there start on the first or second pull. i have a pull start

it did come out the exhaust.....i just got it fired up.. now i have to tune its thanks guys for the help
