Revo Won't Prime

Hi, I am new to the forum.

I just recently got my parts together for my Revo which hasn't ran for 6 months and it won't prime. I had it running by just flooding the engine by flipping the revo upside down, but the engine wasn't able to draw fuel from the tank so it died. Even when holding my finger on the exhaust and cranking the engine, it wasn't priming. Help is appreciated, thanks.

Was the tank filled all the way up? Have you tried removing the hose from the exhaust and blowing in it instead to prime it? Have you checked the gasket on the top of the tank? Might be good to check the lines to make sure they aren't clogged as well.

The tank is full, the gasket is sealing. I have tried blowing on the pipe and I am not able to prime any better then what the engine is doing.

take the fuel line off of the pipe and blow in it. This should help,,, if it doesn't then you need to remove your tank and test it for leaks.

OH--- replace your fuel lines, if you suspect that you have a leak this should be the first thing you do. Mainly because it costs like .04 cents.
