The new JL.28Max has gobs of torque n revs even with stock pipe.. Pipe change should make it even better...

Nice man. My nephew is talking about using the new .28 on his Revo build. I will make sure he checks this out. I bet with a true BB pipe it will run a considerable amount better.

an exhaust question I would like confirmed, the exhaust port the size of a true bb or is the same as a .26 max which requires one of randy's adaptors??

Thanks guys. The truck really hauls and keeps pulling hard. Doing a total breakdown right now. Looking over everything. Gonna do some upgrades over winter. Hopefully I can break that 46mph run with ease next summer.

I actually have the same setup on order for one of my Revo's. That is actually how I found this site. I was trying to figure out what else I would need and what the best gear set up would be and stumbled on here. Great site. Anyway have you changed anything since you put it in. I have ordered the .28 engine, motor mount, 17 tooth clutch bell, 3 piece clutch, 36t spur gear, exhaust system, and some other needed goodies. How has yours been holding up?

Its holding up good so far. I've upgraded some parts this winter. Got a custom exhaust made for it also from ERCM.

Are you still running optidrive? If not how are you shifting the trans? I currently have stock trans and no optidrive and wasn't sure if I needed it or if there is a another option. (Truck is currently still in pieces) thanks

No optidrive. Got rid of that the first couple months I had it. I first put in a forward only conversion. Now with more power I put in the RRP steel forward only gears.
