i start my revo and when its cold its starts perfect every time but as soon as it warms up it wants to die.

Might be running too lean and boiling the fuel at the carb. Richen the top a few hours and see if that helps.

Mine was doing what moto had mention, this is known as vaporlocking. Mine would run for a about 10 minutes before stopping and not restarting for about 15minutes. After I got a temp gun and checked it it was well over 300 degrees. Mine was so out of tune it was insane. After a full tune from the ground up it runs like a dream and screams up and down the street loud and proud.

what temp should i be running at? i can't seem to keep it under 280 then i have to sutt it off. how many full turns out from tight is your lsn ans hsn ?i tried going back to factory settings. could this be an air leak?

Could be an air leak for sure. Temp is a bit of a myth really. As long as the engine is running good as far as performance and smoke....temp doesn't matter too much in the end. My Revo liked to run @ 290ish, but even then it would vaporlock on occasion. Those little TRX 3.3's just like to run hot more often than not....

I would richen up your high speed needle 2 hours and see what happens from there.

Running temp doesn't matter much untill you begin vapor locking like I was. I was well over 300 degrees. Vaporlocking occures when the fuel cooks off in the carb and creates b ack pressure in the fuel lines preventing fuel from getting to the carb. I'm not saying this is your problem, but if you are getting to hot then yes temp can be a major factor. I dropped my running temps to 240 with body off by changing from 30% nitro to 20% and getting it tuned properly.
