After an endless amount of the REVO rolling down a 30 ft sand hill (look like a tumble weed in the wind), when it hit the bottom, all the wheels were stuck. I could not roll the wheels foward or reverse. IF you turned the right or left front tire the other one would spin, but all four tires would not roll at the same time. Any one had this problem before? After endlessly pushing the truck foward and reverse, I then got it to roll. One Hour later, it did it again?

If you can turn one tire and have the opposite turn the other direction, your diffs are fine. But if you can't push the truck on all 4 wheels, I'd suspect your tranny is bound, the brakes are locked or perhaps your clutch has seized. If you've been running in loose sand, you may have gotten some somewhere that is binding you up.

Mine did the same thing and it was the ring gear in the front diff. Unhook both driveshafts at the tranny then roll just the fronts then the back wheels on the ground. That should narrow it down a little. :2cents:

i would agree to check your ring gear normally not the tranny , also check the pins on the drive shafts i had one of those back out as well.

Thats a great idea but how will they know which is backwards? disconnecting one will allow both to roll freelly in either direction.

I guess I don't understand your question compared to what I said. I did'nt say anything about backwards. When my ring gear went bad you could spin the LF wheel foward and the RF would spin backward (like its supposed to) but you could'nt spin both (or all 4) in the same direction at the same time, it was locked up. By unhooking the driveshafts then rolling both fronts then both rears on the ground at the same time it told me which diff was screwed up. I guess I could have explained it a little better the first time

thanks guys.... diff ring gear missing 1/4 of it and the primary reverse gear stripped... I guess that would make the revo not roll, new diff and gear, works great now!
