I have a mini-Revo, its a bunch of fun but I keep breaking the axle carriers, 3 broken so far. Worse than that, the snap in plugs that go over the pillow balls are not available until next month. I am gonna' take a run with aluminum axle carriers. My LHS actually recommends the Integy carriers for this. I know there is an anti-integy sentiment at this board, but this may be an exception. Any experience with aluminum axle carriers out there?

Don't buy Integy!!!!!!!!!! Their parts are junk! They are usually weaker than the stock plastic ones that they are intended to replace. Almost all of the old timers here have tried their parts and have had many problems with them. I personally had shock shafts that bent running on the street.

I have the integy carriers and they have give my no problems so far but aluminum carriers are a must!!

Yeah, aluminum regardless of the fit/finish is a better option than the stock. The snap in caps are a joke and if you want to buy them, then you are forced to purchase the pillow balls as well. Same as the axle pins. I bought the aluminum Traxxas hex hubs assuming they came with new axle pins. That was wrong. So now I have to buy a package of plastic hubs to get the right size pins. This kind of marketing drives me to any option rather than stock. Even the integy carriers have screw in nylon carrier caps. This may not be from the best mfg on Earth, but I think it is still a viable option for this application.
