Well this is my first post on here and was just wondering what is faster the Revo or the T-Maxx. not on the track just out messin around out front of the house or in a field. I know that the REVO is much better on the track at least thats what I here.....if anyone know this please fill me in
Thanks

Kenny

i suggest you read around the forum and go to the local store and pick up a copy of the new r/c car action. this month they have a head to head of the revo and t-maxx. to answer you top speed question, the mag has them clocked at:Revo-37.13, and the T-Maxx-36.85, they also have the revo accelerating a little faster. if i were you though i wouldn't look at only top speed. I have both of these trucks and would highly suggest the Revo. But read around and make your own disision.

thanks I am asking for a Revo from santa so ........but my brother just got a T maxx and you know brotherly love we have to bicker at one another LOL...I do think if I get one I am getting the Revo.

REVO is faster, it weighs less/less rotating tranny mass.

i don't think a stock revo is lighter than a t-maxx, but you can still feel more power from the 2.5r.

No it is actually a pound or so less, feel free to email Traxxas. A stock Revo is around 9.6lbs, The T-Maxx 2.5 was heavier.

They are close anyway. What it comes down to is the suspension and handleing of the REVO.

no, i'm not going to e-mail traxxas, i beleave u it was just that i heard from some people at the lhs the the revo was heaver but i should have know better to listen to them casue they looked like they had no clue about MTs. but the shootout in rc car action has the revo at 150.4 and the t-maxx at 145. not trying to argue and really i don't care which is heavier (they are both great trucks) but you just got me curious.

revo handles better as well with its suspension, so if your taking fast corners etc, then the revo will shine there as well. top speed, acceleration and handling...i think it'd beat a tmaxx, but not like it'd be 1000ft ahead or anything. i think it'd also depend on driving as well. but yes the revo is durable...just ask the mercedes E320 i hit at over 30mph. bent a pushrod thats it.

both have mad hop-ups, so a quick gearing change before your brother knows will help out too, hehe
