Hey everyone!!! I am new to this page and have a little bit of a problem with my new REVO 3.3. I ran it and broke it in according to the manual and everything was great. As I continued to run it it would not shift out of 1st gear and eventually would not go into gear at all (no reverse either). So I am stuck with a truck that starts and runs great but won't go into gear. I have tried adjusting according to the manual and still nothing. I tried traxxas support and they suggested all the things I have already tried and my local shop that I purchased it at was not any help at all. So I am reaching out to you all for any help or advice. Thanks for listening. Standing by.

It has something to do with the forward/reverse shifter. You need to look into the tranny.
A forward only kit will solve this for good. You may want to keep your reverse, most of us just ditch the reverse setup. Simplicity....

yeah tear the tranny open and see whats going on inside. and check the micro servo that its not shifting just a little. also the idle might do it too. if it to high of an idle it wont shift.

i say FOC, ditch all the reverse stuff and you should be set to go.

I've received a bunch of great advice from the experts here and have learned 90% of what I know from their suggestions. One of the best pieces of advice I've gotten so far for troubleshooting (thanks to Rolex) is to follow the flow of the power. Start at the engine, check clutch bell, spur gear, slipper, tranny, center driveshafts....etc all the way to the wheels. See where the power is starting and stopping. For me, that's what has worked the best. Good luck and let us know what you find.

The guy at your hobby shop is a complete idiot.
It's only a matter of a few items to troubleshoot.
As mentioned already, check the tightness of the slipper.
Shift it with the radio and check the servo movement.
See if the clutch bell is turning when you rev the engine.
If those check out okay, the problem will be in the drive train.
By the way, if I didn't mention it before, the guy at your hobby shop is a complete idiot.

Keep us posted on what you find.

EDIT: MrClean posted while I was still writing. LMAO...good timing. Take his advise.
