Hello all, I haven't been on in a while but today I decided to take out my revo and get it all tuned up and ready to run for the upcomming summer.

I reprogramed it like it said. (I think i did it right)

I did all my checking to make sure everything was working, every battery was good...

I started it up and right away it wanted to jump right off, i had to use my foot to keep it from rolling away.

I started adjusting the idle speed to see if I could get it to sit still enough for me to start driving it but as i did my little 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 turns nothing was changing... I think i reprogramed it wrong and the carborator was open letting in fuel.

When I moved my foot it just started driving away on it own. My LHS has moved and they are now pretty far away and it costs money for them to tune it and I want to learn how.

The Idle speed adjustment didn't do anything, when I turned the Low speed it had some effect and I didn't dare touch the high speed needle.

Thanks for the help.

All right, I found out something I did wrong. I thought my servo switches on my controller were not at the default settings and changed them. I just realized that they were at the default settings and I screwed up my optidrive programing.

I'm going to redo it and see what happens.

For starters, when setting your idle, take off the air cleaner so you can look into the carb. Turn the trim knob on the radio down to zero, then hold the trigger in full brake position while you set the opening to 1 or 2 mm. Now start the car and do your fine tuning on it.

SUCSESS!

I Reprogramed my optidrive correctly and with a random stroke of luck the only tuning needed was a 1/16 turn clockwise of the lowspeed needle and a 1/16 turn counterclockwise of the highspeed needle.

I now know somewhat of how to tune my revo correctly.

And thanks for the help rolex, I just had to reread the manual or parts of it anyways...

But overall SUCSESS!

I never did get the temp above 200 though, was close but not quite there so I dont know how it will run at 230-240...

Since it's been broken in, you can lean out your HSN for a better top end. This will also bring up your temps for optimum efficiency.

I Dont like to lean it to much when I'm in a small area for fear that i'll crash it. And Also, I'm not rich and by keeping it rich i hope it prolongs engine life so i dont have to buy a replacement one anytime soon or later.

I'm gunna take it out to a feild and see how well it does.
