well igot my new pipe in today and i found some things out that i didnt like about it first is the everyone says that the pipe makes your mill run hotter and can also hurt it very badly if you dont watch out for it. also a friend of mine told me it doesn't make very much of a difference (thats his quote)and i was wondering if any one has had any of these problems with it and if i should use it or if i should sell it right away also i run the stock mill witha after market head(G H cooling head) and the rest of its all upgrades. anything good or bad please let me know about it

thanx me

What I found was that the header that comes with it causes the pipe not to seat properly. This could cause an airleak and higher temps. I tried it with the 2.5 and the .18TM, same with either one. Using it with the OS header it's fine. It does provide a lot on the low end and will take away from top end but how often do you get to hit the top racing off road. It is considerably louder, so much so, I took it off and I'm thinking of selling it.

is it fine to have a small gap between the header and pipe? i am using the stock revo coupler with an os header and trinity pipe and it seems like there is a little bit of play between the two. it the coupler air tight? the pipe and header are both the same size so should i bent the pipe out a little for a better fit?

I love mine!!! I used the trinity head, it was a very tight fit but once I got it on there I have had no problem. Your friend might be having heat trouble because he is running to lean. I had to richen it up a little with the Trinity pipe. As jet said the low end is very noticeable and it's very loud, but sounds good.
