I can't get my Revo to shift to second gear. I followed the instructions regarding Tranny adjustment but no luck. Whats next??

How many tanks you have through it? Do you have a temp gun? If yes, what kind of engine temps are you getting it up to? Also try driving about 3/4 throttle and listen then, sometimes it's easier to hear it shift at a lower throttle setting.

I have had the truck about 6 months, Ran at least 20 tanks of fuel at about 220 degrees average. It shifted fine then stopped shifting. I can run at high or low RPM, No luck. Looking for a quick fix if anyone knows of one.
Thanks.

How many times have you tried to adjust it? How far out have you turned it?
Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 attempts, at about 1/8 turn each time, before it starts to shift. Once it starts shifting again, another small adjustment is usually necessary to get it exactly where you like it.

I didn't pay much attention to my tranny when I had it apart so I'm not sure how the Traxxas two speed works. On my on-road (NTC3) it was the OWB for the tranny that was causing the problem.

Mine was not shifting into second for a couple of runs. Engine sure cranked it up though! Anyhow, turns out mine needed a slipper slutch adjustment. Later I discovered it ate the slipper clutch pads. Gone, totally gone. I feel it was probably due to the fact that it had been slipping for awhile and excess heat ruined them until they disintergrated. Try adjusting/checking your slipper clutch.

Yeah, Jet, the Revo slipper works a lot different than the T-Maxx one does, so although the T-Maxx will let you get away with a little loose on the slipper, the Revo one works more like a clutch and if it is slipping it will let the engine rev, but no go into second gear. 11.00 bucks later mine was shifting away like a new rig. And mine went out after only about 12-14 tanks.
