Scratch that,
Ill take any 40 series tires and rims, but i want dirt tires.

You wont get much for that price. MT rims/tires are some of the most expensive around.

For a pair, right?

I was looking for a whole set rims and all. I dont know how much they are, so just kinda throw prices at me

New a set (2) of Wabash wheels 40 series, 23mm hub is about $18. Tires, 40 series Crime's or Bow Tie's are about $32. Roughly $90 +/- for a complete set of 4 new. Plus you can reuse wheels if they are in decent shape

What I meant was, i was looking to buy some 40 series tires and rims off you guys.

Not many of us use the 40 series, because they are too heavy. We either run maxx size rims or revo sized rims. Just letting you know.

ok,
ill take any offers, butt i need some dirt tires that grip realllll!!! good.

I know what you meant, and Monkey knew what you meant. I was pointing out how much new ones were to kinda let you know you'd be hard pressed to find someone letting a used set go as cheap as you were offering. Don't take it the wrong way. Here's a little advice, buying used probably won't do you much good, though you may find a set of four reasonably priced, your still going to have to figure in shipping costs. By the time you do that you'll just about be at the price of a new set of Hurricane Wheels and Response tires (hint, hint...good setup). HTH

Yeah we all knew what you meant. Like he said the best bang for your $$ is the Hurricane/Response set up. If you HAVE to have them now and can't save some more $$ up, you can always check fleabay or the Traxxas forums. But it is always good to check here 1st!

What are you looking for in the 40 series other than traction in the dirt you mentioned?

I run 40 series on everything, but I also use powerful engines like the RB Concepts 523 setup and the Adam Draked .30 and .28. These engines don't even know the tires are there :OMG:

If you are looking for a wider stance on your truck try the OFNA wheel adapters that give the truck an almost 2" wider look/feel and upgrade the hub to 17mm. I sell the heck out of these. Want to know more :)

Check out this tire

This tire was originally produced for the OFNA Titan Dual engine truck.

VERY WIDE tire and very good traction on ANY surface!!!

Frankly, I've had the best results with Maxx sized Crime Fighters or Bow Ties. 40's on my Revo, even with the .18TM, just drove like a brick, but I don't think it had to do with the engine being unable to power them, just the way the Revo is designed. You'd think the opposite, but I had so much front end push with 40's I might as well had not even been steering! When I went to the Maxx size, it got much better. Made some additional adjustments and the push is all but completely gone.

My next purchase for shoes will be the Hurricane/Response set-up.
