RC Driving Style
I'm looking for another way to start my revo , I'm tired of luggin around my ezstart and having that motor on my engine taking up space and weight , pullstart i ripped my hands apart ,
now i heard of a ''tiger drive '' is that roto start or something else , it looks interesting , is it worth buying considering i dont like the other 2 options, let me know if anybody has delt with these products and how i could set it up.

thanks again
nick

Suck it up and use a pullstart, once a engine is broken in and properly tuned its effortless to use.

with mine i had to pull a poop load of times and it was tuned right to where i was
,

Personally, the Tiger Drive will be more a pain than the EZ Start. You need a cordless drill for it, and that is heavier and more bulky than the ez-start. I agree with joneser4u, get a pull start. A well tuned engine should start up within a couple pulls anyway.

ohhhhhhhhhhh i didnt know about the cordless drive part , my bad. never mind that idea. thanks guys

lol I am looking for something also I was thinking about a bump starter but then you have the big starter box to carry around ;( If you are looking to not have to carry much pull start is the way to go.

Now just give this a minute of thought. You're out in the lower 40 with your weed wacker, trimming around your fence posts, and decide to take a break.
When you're ready to work again, would you rather carry it back to the barn for your "start up" support, if you don't have batteries or starter boxes with you, or just pull the cord once or twice?
Same with the nitros. You also have less weight, and less to maintain.

I would also like to add some of the starting systems can damage your engine, like if its flooded really bad and you try to start it,liquid dont compress very easly, something in the engines gotta give, usually a rod,and thats if your lucky. When using a pullstart your more likly to notice things like this.

i guess o just had bad luck with mine , i was running alright , when it was warmed up it had no problem starting, but when it was not it took along time to start, weird aye, any ideas why that could be, i always prime before , and my tunning seemed good , i had no problems accelerating high end or low end.

If your problem is starting cold, you might want to raise the trim on the idle, and then back it down as it warms up. That's a very common practice. Hopefully it should work for you, since it starts quickly once it's warm.

I Think I Might Just Put Back On My Pull Start And Try That Again, With The Trim Up A Little It Migt Jus Work Better.

Yep, I usually work the trigger when statring mine,I put my knee on the truck put on the ignitor and work the trigger while I pullstart,A method I have perfected over the years.

cool , i will try that the next time, and hopefully it will work better than having open sore between every finger on my hand , lol, it wasn't pleasant
