Revo starterbox conversion -Native Racing

Just to clarify, there are two different RD's. RD Logics as mentioned (junk, IMO) and RD Racing Products (top quality). To buy the Native Box is a step in the wrong direction, IMO, but if you already have one of the Associated/Ofna boxes getting the conversion might get you by for a while. I've read elsewhere that quite a few people that bought the Native Box weren't all that pleased with it. Mostly due to the fact that it has an itty bitty motor and it's a little tight for a gel cell battery unless you get the half sized. Don't worry Monkey, you'll be fine!
 
Jet, how many motors does the RD Logics have? What is the design feature that makes them junk versus the RD Racing? I've seen both online and to be honest I thought the RD Racing was a rebadged RD logics. My mistake.
 
RD Racing has one gigante moto, the RD Logics has two. RD Logics copied the design and last I had heard Roy was looking into things to see if there was any patent or design infringements. Also thought I read where the Logics box had some sort of wiring snafu like it had a fuse or something in-line that kept blowing and you had to take the box apart all the time to change it.

Dan and Ryan, RD Racing Products is still something I am very proud
of, so I say keep running the decals, it still represents :-)

I have had alot of calls and alot of emails asking was has happened,
am I no longer with RD Racing Products and/or Quality Coatings. The
answer is yes. The reason, well it can be found in the forums at RD
Racing Products. No reasopn to muddy things up here about it. I
appreciate everyones concern, and more importantly, I appreciate
everyones support of RD Racing Products over the 5 years since I
started it. I cannot thank my best friend Craig Hamilton enough for
all of his ideas and help with everything from shipping to building
product. Also a huge thanks to Mike Bright for all his help with the
website, he has been there helping since day one.

Well, I still think Mr. T is a rat bastard, mostly because everytime he sends me a PM he starts it with, "Mr. Savage (if that's your REAL name)..." The man has to remind of that Integy BS every chance he gets!

Seriously though, got the box today and can't wait to give it a shot! Just need to get a different back plate for my OC. 18TM and I'm off and running! Thanks again for the awesome box, T, I appreciate it!
 
Holy poop did he get the shaft! Thanks for posting that. I hit their site from time to time but not usually the forum, just not a lot of activity. Been wondering why the spacers aren't in stock.

Monkey, you'll probably have to look for the backplate for the TZ, I don't recall finding a TM backplate way back when
 
Yep, but $27.00? Man, that thing better be the shizzle! I haven't even started hunting yet, but that is what I'm looking for.

Custom CNC aluminum backplate with built in heatsink fins.... Oh yeah baby it's getting hot in here.


27 bucks to run both leaner and cooler. Not bad.
