is it possible to turn a slayer into a revo or is it not worth the work or the money i just bought the slayer and love it but i was wondering if everything is interchangeable between the revo and slayer as far as a arms etc...if anyone has done a slayer revo conversion what was the total cost?

The Slayer is just a Revo 2.5 with shorter arms... So you should be able to get arms and driveshafts and be good to go, but I've never actually seen a Slayer so I'd wait for a better opinion.

You will also need the rod links.

Revo arms and links, Revo spec wheels and tires (the 2.2's would just look silly) and a body and you have yourself a Revo for only about $100...

We just did that exact same thing about 2 weeks ago.
All of the parts did fit. Along with the suspension change we also had to change the hubs to accept the larger tires and we had to regear it because the motor ran very hot.
We put the 38 tooth gearset in. (Same as a stock Revo)
DO NOT try to reuse the Slayer spur gear, get a matched set.
Your end result is a short wheel base revo that handles great.
So far so good, I did notice that when going over jumps she tends to nose dive.

This is the end result.

Sick! That looks like a mean little package right there! Looks really light! Does it totally rip?

Jim seems very happy.
Here is a vid of the first time we ran it after changing out the suspension.

aint bad,but is it worth it to convert Slayer to Revo?
difference in the price is about £50,just the set of wheels & tires will cost ya £40 plus Revo arms and other parts another £50 is not more...
not worth it
if you wanna buy Revo then just buy it.

but if he already has the slayer, then it would be a lot cheaper for him to just change the parts on the slayer to make it into a revo rather than going out and buyin one.
