Thanks for the link, but it didn't work. It did everything that said it would, but it still blinks green to red to green...I think it should be okay, but I'm thinking about taking off the opti-drive completely. From what I understand all it does is prevent shifting in reverse while moving. I think I can handle that without help haha. We'll see, thanks for the help tho!
 
AC, FOC will remove weight and rotational mass. By reducing rotational mass you will gain some in the acceleration department. Yes it's noticeable. You are also correct in that the optidrive only prevents you from shifting while moving if you are too impatient to realize you need to wait a second or too. If you race at all you will want to do the FOC.

Also to everyone, try cycling the batt a few times and see if that takes care of it. I never used the charger that came with mine since I had another charger for doing rx packs.
 
I'm gunna try out the reverse cause I've never had it before, but mostlikely I will be doing the FOC pretty soon. Thanks for the help guys, breakin is tomorrow :)
 
well i had the same problem when i first got my revo and i found out that my battery pack was junk because it lost all of its charge and it was doing the same thing that your s is so i called traxxas and they sent me a new one and i havnt had any probs sense but traxxas said it could be from the truck sitting there in the hobby shop with out re charging the pack and once the pack looses all of its charge the pack is junk call traxxas and ask them about it once the helped me right out
