Oh yea... I am ready for a new engine.... my lhs say :argue: that they bench tested the RB Concept TM323 with the O.S 0.18 engine in a REVO and they liked the RB. They said it was so powerful that it would do wheelies in reverse... Is this true, that the RB Concepts engine is better than the O.S. engine for a Revo? Has anybody else compared the two?

PS. I still have don't know why you would want to do wheelies in reverse  ... I guess if it does that in reverse, than its gotta kick butt in foward. :boxing:

0.23 Vrs. 0.18 I

I have not seen an Os .18 go but it sounds like everone loves them. My buddy just put the RB .23 in his REVO and the thing is just insane. Really fast, tons of low end and does pretty good on fuel. It is also pretty loud. I would say either is a good choice but I have seen the RB go first hand and its freakin psyco.

If your gonna race id do the os .18 because its gonna keep the wheels on the ground and be more controllable than the rb and you win races by not having the truck flip on you but if your gonna bash id say the rb cause when you bash you could careless if it stays on its wheels all the time but dont get me wrong the os is a powerful motor the rb just has more torque i hope this helps you in making a decision

my OS 18tm does wheelies in reverse, kinda hard to control when it does that though. both are great motors in any case.

I have seen vids of the rb.. Pretty insane. My next motor for sure.

Hey Guys
I Have Compared To Popular Motors In The Revo
All Stock Setup Other Motors

Os .18 Tm 1.65 Hp
Fantom .18 1.95 Hp

The Fantom Is Faster And Insane
I Rac Emy Revo With The Fantom And Put The O.s On My Wifes Tmaxx
When Ya Do The Fantom Conversion Its The Same As The Os Conversion And Ya Actually Need The Os Header For The Rea Output For The Revo Pipe The Fantom Pipe Comes Around To The Side
Fantom Needs To Amke A Rear Pipe For Teh Revo For Ppl Wanting To Use This In There Revo

remy where have you seen vidz on the RB? I have never seen this thing in action

nope, it was the hobby shop on palm beach lakes.. Radio Controlled Revolution.... Well I thank you all for your input, but as they say, if you really want to know do it!... I just got the OS 18, the guys over at the hobby superstore on Ft. Laudedale convinced me on the OS 18. they said the RB had more low end torque but lacked top end. A guy was there who raced last weekend, and he said, that off the line the RB is better " if you can keep the wheels down", but top end is no match for the OS 18. He also said that alot of guys have messed up their tranny because the RB has a power house of torque that just eats up your tranny system.

I will put in the O.S. 18 in the REVO and reply with my findings. :radio:

that OS will be way more than your revo needs.....that's what all the big dogs at mills pond run in their revos and they're hard to beat.....

:dancin: sweet!!!!!!!! I got the OS 0.18 TM, I will put it in and respond with my results...

I know this is off topic but plaidfish, do you of any skateparks that allow nitro trucks on the ramps.

They had a few floating around the traxxas/revo forum.

Hi all

Bought my RB 323 motor yesterday and fitted last night and spent day running in and setting up and Yes!!! Its mental power...... Wheelies and spins all 4 wheels easily.... tyres ballon up under the power... just wondering how long before drive shafts explode into bits.... well worth the money and a good upgrade over the stock traxxas motor

Sorry guys,i want more power for my jato.Does this mean it will fit in my jato(fantom .18)whilst still retaining easy start.Has the 2.5 in it now, done around twenty tanks only...want to rip my fellow jato mates to shreds..can you guys help me with any links or prices,I'm waiting for stormer hobbies to reply...thanks in advance Nick...

The RB TM 323 kits are specifically made for the T-Maxx and the Revo, only. In fact, the two kits are different among themsleves, as well, due to the different types of engine mounts needed for each MT. They will not work inthe Jato unless you can come up with a motor mount.
