Just bought a 3.3 Revo that wasn't running from a buddy for $50. It came with a lot of accessories but i was wanting to get a 2.4gHz radio. Does the Revo take a different radio and receiver than say a slash? The problem with the truck was a broken clutch shoe that I have ordered and it's on it's way. New to this posting so I hope my pics load right.

your radios are all the same. they have an arial that should have a mount in the receiver box. and it will have how ever many channels to plug ur servo;s into.

The revo radio has a reverse switch on the handle where my slash doesn't. So i didn't know if a non reverse switch controller would work because they are cheaper.

the receiver and transmitter can be linked. no matter how many channels it has.

If its only a 2 channel receiver, if he uses reverse in his truck it does him no good to have a 3 channel tx and a 2 channel rx. Oh and not ALL receivers and transmitters can be linked, some of them wont jive with others.
