hey guyz i want to hop up my revo but i dont no what to put in it ... and would you recomend a sway bar kit thx :\

Are you referring to wanting to upgrade the motor?

As far as the sway bar kit, are you planning on racing? If not the sway bar kit isn't really needed.

The FOC is a good upgrade if you don't mind losing reverse. Allows for the removal of the opti-drive module. If you plan on racing, the FOC with the center differential is good, does require the rear brake kit though. The stock shocks are okay, but I'd like to upgrade to the Platinum Revo shocks.

How about letting us know what you already have done to it, how you intend to use it, etc... and maybe we could go from there.

i want it for speed and a little of bashing . i live in timmins ont . i can't race up here

thinking of rpm a arms

I've actually been looking at the RPM True Track Rear A-Arm Kit. Anybody have any thoughts on the rear A-arm kit? Kind of a newbie here also and just looking for some good ideas to add to my truck.

The tru-trac is a good idea. RPM arms with al. carriers in the front. Titanium pivotballs all around and it will be tough as nails.
I'd put the sway bar kit on it, you can still bash just fine with it. It does wonders for keeping the track flat under hard cornering.
1/2" offset wheels or 3/4" offset wheels with some badlands tires.
THS racing pipe with a motorsaver airfilter, some good fuel and it will be a true monster.

I got the Tru Track on my Revo, it made a big difference in handling for me, much easier control (IMO). You do lose some of the adjustments when you switch to it, so if you decide to get into racing someday it may not be the way to go.

Naw I doubt I ever race in competition. Thanks for the answers everyone. Anybody got any ideas for trying to get my Revo 3.3 a little more water tight?

waterproof your servos and put your reciever in a balloon

I'm not sure about the Trinity pipe, but the Traxxas resonator pipe is a great choice for the 3.3 motor. I believe they are $40 - $50 so the price isn't too bad either.

Always good advise from Scrogg. Those Badlands are a great all purpose tire and I have them mounted on a 3/4 offset rim and love it for general chaos running.Titanium balls are the ticket, spot on on the sway bars.I have not tried the aluminum carriers yet but the Platinum carriers with the steel rings work great, never had one problem yet.The RPM arms are a great addition also to bullet proof your Revo.
