Revo or T-Maxx

I am considering buying a base revo or the t-maxx 2.5r. I can find the t-maxx for $50 cheaper, is it worth the extra money for the revo? or shoud i but the t-maxx and spend the extra 50 in aftemarket parts. I'm not planning on racing it just using it for fun, also i can see myself modifying it in the future.

i dont know what these guys are talking about, i would go ahead and get the revo

the revo is a way more advanced rig. more durable, better handling, and well worth 50$ more
