can't say but I'm sure someone has started a thread on it b/f do a search.

Savage=Bashing

Revo=Racing

At least thats what I've heard. I personnaly own a savage, and have never ran with a Revo, but from the looks of the design and what other members have said the Revo is more of a racing truck than a baashing, although it is durable. Savages are bigger, heavier, and ummm...just bigger lol. TGhey can take more of a beating, but don't turn quite as well.

if you have the money go with the revo. i love mine and you can set it up to bash or race in minutes. they are both tough trucks and eazy to use. the revo is easier for the noob though because of the e/z start. either one you get, you won't be disapointed.

I've got a revo and a savage the revo is a great truck but it dont take a beating all day long like the savage.i have a savage for bashing and a revo for racing

I've got a Savage 25 and my bro-in-law kicks my butt on the track, but he'll rue the day I get fed up with it and t-bone his pretty little truck...pretty well sums it up!!! Either way, you'll have fun.

thanks guys it will be a tough choice but i'm starting to lean towards the revo.

Revo Or Savage

Hmmm.YA OK for my input,I don't have a REVO and prob wont ever buy one.Not that there not fast or a good racer,but for durability reasons.I have owned many trucks and several t maxx's and I can tell you this race or bash the savage is by far a more reliable truck.With the new .25 savage they will run pretty good.But you take a savage and put in a good mod engine and it will spank a REVO AND NOT BREAK DOWN ON YOU.The revo is 1/10 scale and the savage is 1/8 scale"wich I know you know this"and is built way way better.Take the 2 and look them over at a hobbyshop and you'll see there is no comparison.I have 2 t maxx that I run,1 converted with a .26 and 1 2.5 with a .18 both extreamally modded and they still aren't as durable as my savage,wich by the way has a .46 engine.Hope I didn't offend anyone,just giving my input.But as far as running goes,like everyone else said you would enjoy running both.Prob won't enjoy fixing REVO when it breaks.Good luck.RUSS :boxing:

i think that people are underestimating the revo's durability. it will bash all day with a savage and be ready again the next day. my friend bought a savage and he has driven his less then my revo and has had more problems. so in my opinion they are both reliable trucks.

I have neither, and have heard great reviews about both thrucks on their durability i think it just depends on if you want a big block or a small bolck. Personally i have already experienced a small block and want a power house big block to run with. I'm getting a savage sometime once i can get the money.
