lst2

got lst2 about 5 weeks ago & although i hav`nt hit any big air yet i have had good wrecks & broke nothing worse than ant. tube.

That's for darn sure, LST2 all the way !!!!:first_place: I have one and believe me, it's definately worth it over the Revo anyday! :D

I never had an LST but they look cool and I like the big block. They are also about 4 lbs heavier than a Revo, not as nimble, and in my opinion no tougher. The Revo is a tough truck.Check out Revo track session thread. For racing the Revo has the edge, for bashing the LST2 may have the edge.Losi now has the XXL out with some nice changes and a great package with a spektrun radio with telemetry.I beleive the LST2 is out of production. What truck does your LHS stock parts for?A Platinum Revo is ready to race out of the box.The LST2 will need some upgrades to be competetive.

That is if you can find a Platinum. They are a limited production.

LST2 all you need to race is truggy style tires(may need a set of Losi 8ight hexes) and a set of sway bars. Everything else is just icing. :)

I own a Revo Platinum, and so far its really tough and handle's real nice. I haven't run it at the local track yet as it is still wet and sowy so it's not open. But I would recommend a Revo any day!

OMG not even a discussion, LST2 of course.

Cheap ass traxxas product or a high quality losi.

Take it from someone who owned both at one time and almost gave the revo away because he couldn't stand it. Yea that's me.... sold it for almost half of what I had into it but didn't care. Just wanted the pos gone.

BTW, here is a picture of the revo beside the LST2. Just so you know I am not BSing you.

Thanks for all the replies guys. OHH thanks Wiked!! the REVO looks tiny against the LST2. I'm still undecided but starting to move towards the LST2.

That would be your best bet !!!!:D

I would have to say hands down the LST2 which sadly isn't in production anymore. But you can pretty much have one by buying a Losi Aftershock and Losi LST/Aftershock Performance Upgrade Kit. Buy tires and a body and your set with a LST2 with a FOC in it. It's my favorite truck by far. It is a very well and
quality built rig that you won't be disappointed in.

As far as racing it you can run in the monster truck class or you can muggiefie it. Put some Muggy shock towers on on it as well as some Muggy shocks (just put stoppers on the LST ones) and your golden for racing. Just buy some 17mm hexs and tires/wheels. It's a great built truck and the handling on it is amazing. It has the strength of say a savage buy handles just like a Revo. The Layout is extremely well balanced and it holds it's place in a race very well.

i should be able to tell you a lot more by noon tomorroow. just scored a 3.3 off of c-list,(like new) for 225$. i`ll see how it stacks up against my lst2 in a few hours. can`t wait.

Probably not even close, but we'll see !;):D:hehe::p:

Alot of Revo bashing in here :) I'm a Revo fan for sure but my last Revo I purchased was the #5308. I was trying to ask the LHS what he would pick between the Revo and LST2. If your going to bash all out LST2 but you want something to race and bash hands down Revo. You can't beet the handleing of the Revo, thats why there in a class of there own. Nice LST2 Wicked!!!

What do you mean, "hands down" for the Revo for something to "bash and race" and the LST2 just to bash ? Why can't you race with the LST2 too ? I have an LST2 and it handles awesome, it's a great basher and could also be used for racing as well !
