  1. Bashing
Are there any that have to be done? Any weak parts to look into fixing before racing bashing much? I am looking at a Revo 3.3 and a Savage X 4.3, for bashing and racing. Trying to deside which. All input welcome.

well any rpm you can get will help a bunch because if you somehow break an rpm a-arm then i have no clue what the heck you did rather than like run it over with a dumptruck!! but IMO nothing integy is good so don't buy any of it!!! JM .02

Stiffen the suspension up. It helps alot. I have been pretty hard on my truck and the only thing i have broken is a suspension arm in the front due to a collision with a mail box. And have replaced some shock ends, All and all it is a great truck and alot of fun. I might try a savage one day also, just because they look pretty cool and i like what i read about them.

Do the forward only conversion. It will help with the strength and reliability of the transmission. Also adding a fuel filter is a good idea.

The Revo is a pretty tough truck. But, if your going to be bashing a lot, and jumping, then you probably want protect your engine and exhaust with a roll cage. What I do is upgrade to aluminum or RPM as I brake parts, and I'm pretty rough with mine!
